Faviola was born and raised in Puerto Rico and completed a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Puerto Rico Mayagüez in 2021. She also completed a MS in Chemical Engineering at UMass Amherst with Dr. Omar Abdelrahman in the field of electrocatalysis and is currently pursuing studies in the PhD program in the field of complex coacervation with Dr. Sarah Perry.
